Smashwords Interview

What's the story behind your latest book?
This is a hard one to answer, because I have so much writing that I am working on getting out to my readers, also, now that I have become helping others publish through smashwords by formatting and editing for other writers, on top of not having a reliable laptop to do what needs to be done, it could be anything, poetry however seems to be some of my favorite stuff to write, yet I am working on a number of academic and educational books, as well as my experience with PTSD, and a few how to books, on top of short stories, and I intend to publish some of my public speeches I have been honoured to give to many conferences and events through the years. I guess, just be surprised :)
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I must have been in the third grade and it was a story of a talking squirrel and other animals on a wilderness adventure....

This collection will chronicle the life of one woman determined to make a better life for herself. Through Diaries, poetry and short stories she captured her experience into the realities of drug addiction, sexual abuse, suicidal tendencies, domestic violence, and recovery in her determined effort to finally put the monster that has plagued her since childhood away once and for all. This series illustrates the resilience and determination and in the uncensored raw expose of what it was that drove her to the brink of death, and how she gained the utmost courage in facing her monster. Writing has been the only way she could see a way out of the confining prison her addictions trapped her in as she desperately seeks the passage way to freedom. Captivating, devastating, hilarious and witty, and uncensored at times disturbing truths, the readers will come away with an appreciation and compassionate understanding for the souls on earth who are hurting, and inspire courage of the readers to look within yourselves to expose your own monsters.
