A Kayak for One on Feb. 25, 2018

This first book in this series introduces us to a group of wonderful characters. I loved the descriptiveness of the resort, which put me right there. The beauty and the serenity mixed in with Charlene’s memories of her policing days and the murder that has taken place provided a great contrast. (And of course the romantic element that left me wanting more) Very enjoyable read.
Two Buckets of Berries on Feb. 25, 2018

Book 2 in this series did not disappoint. Enjoyed getting back to Charlene’s life at the resort. Loved getting to know the characters more and really enjoy the police stories. A good series to read while on vacation!
Three for Pumpkin Pie? on Feb. 25, 2018

Three for Pumkin Pie continued to entertain. Poor Charlene and her bad luck at Kirkwood Lake. As with the other books, her stories and her characters keep you wanting to know more. And her cooking! Love that the author put our recipe books to go along with her stories. Charlene knows how to make her house a home. Very curious to see what will happen for in her relationships. Interesting end.....need book 4!
