Series

Christ, the "I Am"
Christ, the “I Am” is a book that explores the seven metaphorical “I am” statements of Christ that reveal aspects of His character and relationship to mankind. This biblical book is being translated into various languages and made available as e-books. As they become available they will be included in this series. The book is organized in three sections, the first of which explains each of those seven statements and how they relate to us. Section Two offers a fuller commentary on John 6, regarding Christ as “the Bread of Life,” maintaining a consistent interpretation that has been needed. Section Three then offers a deeper commentary on John 15, regarding Christ as “the true Vine,” with a refreshing study of words and phrases as recorded by Jesus’ beloved disciple, John. This book presents a most excellent series of commentaries on the seven “I am” statements of Christ. A sequel book entitled God’s Son “Forsaken,” His Sacrifice “Finished!” explains the seven statements Christ uttered from the cross, yet again with a particular emphasis on two of those statements. That book is available through Xlibris Publishing (www.KenLenz.com).
Christ: the "Bread" and the "Vine"
There are two free e-books in this series, based on the book "Christ, the 'I Am'," including the following: (1) The Bread of Life: A Consistent Sense of John 6; and (2) Branches of the Vine: A Fresh Look at John 15. The Bread of Life includes a commentary on John 6:26–69 that is extremely helpful, particularly as some branches within Christendom force an interpretation on that passage that is foreign to the teachings of Christ in that historical time-frame (a few years prior to His instituting the Lord's Supper). The commentary offered here portrays a much-needed uniformity suggested by the subtitle: "A Consistent Sense of John 6." Branches of the Vine includes a commentary on John 15:1–6. It explores that passage based on knowing whom the branches represent and what their relationship is to the Vine. Many teachers and commentators are inconsistent––claiming that the branches represent unbelievers in verse 2a, but then believers in verses 4 & 5. Therefore, the subtitle: "A Fresh Look at John 15." These commentaries are also included in the book entitled: Christ, the "I Am"––a more comprehensive book on all seven "I Am" statements of Christ (now in print).
