In his first novel, Ken Daniels creates a unique tale set in rural South Georgia in the early 20th Century, a fiction novel of southern folk life, bonds that form between individuals, horror of unnatural causes, supernatural occurrences, and human tragedy.
The novel depicts the Deep South as it actually existed--isolated, primitive, and crude.
