The Family of Edmund G. Klepps is a DBA of Ken Finger, and was formed for the sole purpose of publishing Memories of Edmund Klepps. Ken knew there was virtually no chance this book would ever be picked up by a traditional publisher. They want manuscripts to be polished, something Ken wanted to avoid. When reading the original, handwritten manuscripts from Ed Klepps, you felt like he was in the room telling you the story. Ken's greatest goal was to keep that feeling; he had to hear Ed's voice when reading the book. If the book was polished to the point that traditional publishers demand, that feeling would have been lost.
