Biography

Charles Hamilton Sr.,a native of Washington, D.C. is a graduate of the Pinecrest Bible Training Center at Salisbury Center, New York and the widely-acclaimed Teen Challenge Training Center in Rehrersburg, Pennsylvania. Hamilton holds a B.S. degree in Pastoral Ministries from the North Central University of Minneapolis, Minnesota and is a former Executive Director of the Northwest Teen Challenge Rehabilitation Program in Spokane, Washington. A much-traveled speaker and respected Bible scholar and mentor, Hamilton has twice appeared on the Canadian Christian Broadcasting program, 100 Huntley Street and has spoken at military bases, prisons, convention centers, churches and Christian Concerts in the U.S. and Canada. Hamilton also enjoys writing poems and anecdotal short stories. He is the author of two inspirational books about overcoming life's difficult challenges, From Darkness To Light and A Step Of Faith. Hamilton's much anticipated third book, KING BONE--a memoir of his haphazard life as a musician and drug dealer in the District of Columbia, during America's restless days of turmoil from 1968-78--was completed in the Spring of 2012. A new memoir: Childhood Memories for Everyone is now in the works. Hamilton currently spends time in Southern Maryland and Kingsport, Tennessee.
