Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I was in fourth grade and it was supposed to be a scary Halloween story. I ended up writing a brutal horror story.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
In elementary school I would watch tv with the captions on to practice reading instead of reading a book. At first I read with the sound on and then later I muted the tv. That is how I improved my reading ability.
It could have been that it allowed me the ability to walk around and not be stuck hold something. I didn't have access to Al Gore's internet back then so the concept of sitting still and reading was difficult for me.
