Dreams Both Real and Strange

This is a book made up of 5 short stories, the stories were okay but not something I will really remember past closing the book. The first and last short stories were "to be continued" and I don't really understand that, are they going to be a longer book? I would not go out of my way to see what happens tho in either of them sadly. The writing was not bad but none of the stories really held me and made me want to read more.
