Smashwords Interview

Describe your desk
My desk is a mess because I've been working all morning. Before I write, I always clean up my workspace then place two notebooks by my computer. The first is a list of things I need to do. The second is for the book I am writing. When a thought pops into my head, I log it then quickly return to writing without any interruption in the flow.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up on a small farm in Watertown, Minnesota. That's where I developed a deep love for animals of all kinds!
