Having just finished the earlier novel by Dorothy Dart, I definitely could not wait to read more of the fortunes and misfortunes of the MacGregor family. What a great tale it is - full of events in the life of this early Australian family. Yes sometimes it is a harsh story because of its setting but it is always rivetting, keeping the focus and the anticipation alive from beginning to end. In fact my Granddaughter wondered why I was so quiet - all she could see was the regular page-turning on my iPad. Thankyou for a terrific read. Faith.
