Why you want to know about little ole me is mind-shattering, but here it goes. I was born in a town, in the middle of a state, with a mom and a dad. Being the oldest, I ruled the scene... until others invaded. They say that everyone's life is a story all its own. If I ever got around to writing mine, it would be held in the fiction aisle. Drama. Comedy. Horror. Unbelievable. It's a wonder I escaped it much less lived through it. But... enough about that!

When the writing bug attacked every organ in my body was right after I turned twelve... I believe. It was so long ago. It was fun creating stories, characters, situations for them to work through. My mind dove into the criminally insane, the helpless victims, the abandoned brokenhearted. It was fun. Addicting. Turned into one craving after another. Playing 'what if' turned into me writing for hours on end. Thank God for the computer! No more wasted paper. Don't like something? Delete it. Voila. Magic.

I'm not happy unless I'm creating or editing something. Websites. Blogs. Stories. Characters. Worlds. It's nice when one finally comes together enough to take shape and then need editing... and more revising... over and over 100 times or more. Ah, the life of a writer. Glamorous, eh? I love it. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I slaved... err... loved writing it! Thanks!

Smashwords Interview

Describe your desk
I wish I could say that it's fancy with a lot of gizmos and such to play with, but it's not. Two tables pushed together, one longer than the other that holds my computer tower, printer, and oodles of papers where I jot things down to store in a catch-all box. The smaller table - more like a card table - is where my keyboard and bigger-than-average monitor sits.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
Ah, my childhood. The thing that I'm stunned I survived. How did it influence my writing? Making me want to live in fiction.

Wow! This book is filled with characters that you fall in love with and ones you really hate. It is beautifully written with comical phrases. I could not stop reading once I started. My bed screamed at me... sleep beckoned me, but I couldn't stop until the end. I 'had' to find out what was happening next. I would highly recommend this book to anyone. I have issues with forgiveness and a rocky, 'checkered' past like Dakota. It was as if God was speaking to me through the author's words. Great work!! A must read! I can't wait to read the others... after I get some sleep that is.
