I really hate these stupid boxes. I mean really, who reads them? I rarely do and I know I'm not the only one! I don't care who you are or what you did... just how well you write. However, I have to put 'something' here, so here it goes.

Well, I am me. I started writing when I was just 14 and have never stopped. When your life is one shit storm after another, you look for a new venue to escape to so that you can live out some of your darkest, deepest desires. Triple-D!

When people would piss me off, I would make him/her into a character (having personality/faults) and make his/her fictional life a living hell. Then again, isn't that the mind of a writer? We are all just a stone's throw away from the looney bin.

Smashwords Interview

How do you approach cover design?
The cover design is usually the last thing on my list before publishing. Granted, there have been a few occasions where the cover came to me in the middle of writing and I had to create it first. I like to do them myself because no one knows my books inside and out better than the creator. I had one professionally done, but the rest I've been doing myself. I think about what the book means, the plot, the characters, the story line and then I create something that gives a hint about what the book holds, but at the same time draws the reader in like a moth to a flame. Sometimes it's the illusion of what the book holds that once read is more understandable. Sometimes the hardest part of creating a book is what to put for the cover.
What do you read for pleasure?
For pleasure I like to read the fictions. I don't get stuck on one genre and find just as much satisfaction in a love story as I do with a good science fiction and there's nothing like a good murder mystery to have me guessing along as I read trying to figure out who might have done the deed. Granted, usually I'm pretty good at figuring these things out. However, there have been a few authors who have fooled me and left me gasping from shock at just how wrong I was.

Wow! This book is filled with characters that you fall in love with and ones you really hate. It is beautifully written with comical phrases. I could not stop reading once I started. My bed screamed at me... sleep beckoned me, but I couldn't stop until the end. I 'had' to find out what was happening next. I would highly recommend this book to anyone. I have issues with forgiveness and a rocky, 'checkered' past like Dakota. It was as if God was speaking to me through the author's words. Great work!! A must read! I can't wait to read the others... after I get some sleep that is.
