What is your writing process?
Often I come up with a working title first (which is a little back to front for most authors) and this helps me to plot out the main themes of the book. Being a person who is excellent with a to-do list, I brainstorm the overall rough plot of the book, including scenarios and loose story lines before putting pen to paper (or finger to keyboard) and becoming more specific. Given that I write erotica, distraction can be a bit of a (pleasant) work hazard ... and occasionally I have to play out a particular scenario in order to accurately describe it in writing.
How do you approach cover design?
I like to keep cover designs sleek and sexy, and avoid the cliched photos where possible. Each cover is designed specifically around the theme of the book, and aims to spark your interest without giving too much away ....
