A.M. Madden is giving us a much more intimate look into the lives of the members of Devil's Lair. We are shown the human aspect of their character with more detail and made to fall in love even more with each and every one. Traveling the world on their international tour, we get to experience Jack and Leila in all their domestic glory. We see as their love and family grow and they prove to us that what we experienced with them in the previous books is stronger and more solid than ever. Hunter Amatto and his wife Mandi also have a bigger role in this novella. His funny, Fruit Loops loving self and his more reserved wife give us a glimpse into the somewhat kinky relationship they share. Their love is strong and the way they fight together to overcome a certain situation, just proves that. We are introduced to Paula, a friend of Jen's, and her son Shane. Their arrival and interaction with the band completely changes everyone's life forever. The family-oriented atmosphere the band is in, is al the forefront of this story. You will experience moments with them that will completely devastate you, leaving you a crying mess, while others will have you laughing so hard. It is always great to see more of the characters that we love and this novella does just that. It is a wonderful way to show us how all the families interact once the show lights are turned off.
