Tales of the MERC Part One: The Trial on June 26, 2019

Terrific read. Great story and character development in few chapters. Target demographic certainly seems to be 14-24 year old boys, but as a full fledged soccer mom I really enjoyed it too. (Maybe it’s because I see a bit of Malice in me?) Only minor critique is the lack of consistency in choice of language. Both Part 1 and Part 2 go back and forth between formal (Mideval?) language and casual, present day speech including slang. Attention to this in the next installments might be warranted. It does not at all distract from the storyline, just the believability. It could go either way (formal “old world” language or current day) but consistency would improve the work. Well done from this new author—looking forward to the next installment!
