Biography
I live in the beautiful countryside of West Yorkshire, England. I have four daughters, two female dogs, three girlie cats and an outnumbered husband!
I trained as an actor and spent many years touring with children’s theatre companies. I then went onto combine my love of theatre and children’s books to form my own preschool storytelling company.
I have always wanted to write my own children’s books. For the last twenty years, I have had a tatty leather-bound notebook in which I’ve scribbled down book ideas.
‘Let’s talk to Mummy’s tummy’ is hopefully the first of many! I really hope you enjoy reading it with your little one as you count down the weeks of pregnancy together.

This pregnancy companion will help existing children to bond with the unborn baby and to feel prepared for its arrival. With each page that turns, another week of pregnancy passes and the changes that are happening within Mummy’s tummy are described.
The baby in the book talks directly to the child who is having the book read to them which will help to create a bond between the child and the new baby before its even born.
