Lance Hodgdon

Biography

Lance Hodgdon is a retired teacher who has been telling stories in the great oral tradition his entire life. He has made the decision to devote the rest of his life to writing some of these stories down and to adding to that large list of stories with new ones. This novel is the first of those stories that he has published. It began life as a story told to his English classes about a camping trip, an abandoned home, a mysterious woman, and her dog. It morphed into a movie script that was filmed in Salisbury, Maryland several years ago, and finally became this novel.
Lance is currently living in the country in the mountains of Western Maryland. He spends his day, hiking in the mountains, kayaking when it is warm enough, and mostly writing.
