What motivated you to become an indie author?
I've always liked the idea of writing a book but instead I started writing short stories in 2010 as a means of obtaining some feedback about my penmanship. That worked out well, so I continued writing short stories and also the occasional poem. My first book, "Twenty Naughty Poems" is a sub-selection from my first five years as an indie author.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I love writing as an external expression of my inner personality. I find it easier to be creative with the written word than to express the same thoughts and feelings verbally. Of course, this is in part due to the fact that the written word can be changed prior to publication whereas the spoken word cannot.
