Leon S. Robertson, Ph.D., is a retired injury epidemiologist. During1978-98 he occupied various positions in the Institution for Social and Policy Studies and the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at Yale University. He previously served on the faculties of Harvard University Medical School (1966- 70) and Wake Forest University (1962-65). He was also Senior Behavioral Scientist in the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. (1970-78)
Dr. Robertson is coauthor of 6 books and the sole author of 7. The latest is a suspense novel, The HOA Murders.
Two old men who bullied neighbors in their homeowner's association (HOA) are found shot dead in the Arizona desert near the Mexico border. Pima County Sheriff's detectives Juan Caldera and Junior Collins work the case. Drug and gun smugglers, Minutemen and aggrieved members of the HOA are on the suspect list. When more neighbors die from poisoning after a potluck, the focus narrows to the HOA.
