How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
As a new author, it's been a great avenue for my book, Menu for Murder to gain access to markets other than Amazon.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
For me, writing is like the oil that bubbles out of the earth - something I can't stop from happening and it feels as natural as breathing. I've written short stories since I was a child and the progression from that to series writing has been a fantastic experience. Sometimes there are stories which bounce around in your head for a time before they finally are allowed out. Sadly, there isn't enough time in the day for all of them so they sit like ladies in waiting for their turn.
