Maria Lia Ruete

Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, as a second daughter of Enrique Ruete and Estela Toucon.
Proud of her little country with the slow pace and the respect for the little pleasures of life and the bounty of nature.
Raised and nationalized in Argentina. Developed the love for the Holy Spirit in the sign of the wind. Buenos Aires, inspirational, encouraging, sweeping.
Fell in love at an early age and grew to build a family and a personal history with Jose Aberg Cobo. In our wedding vows we included a verse of the Bible that reads: Wherever you go, I will go. Wherever you sleep, I will sleep. Your people will be my people. Your God will be my God. Those words have fully come alive in our matrimony keeping us moving from one place to another. We were blessed with seven children: Dama, Aline, Maggie, Mia, Tessie, Juanjo and Palita. Each one teaching us new ways to thank the Lord!
Raising them I develop a passion for storytelling. They have develop the content of my stories, I only have to let the world know all what I was learning.

"Es el relato valiente de una madre que nos muestra, con palabras sencillas y profundas, cómo los momentos de mayor dolor resultaron puntos de encuentro con sus hermanos y con Dios. Al recorrer su vida nos muestra como se le fue transformando la mirada, lo que en un principio parecía una cruz pesada terminó siendo una bendición. Un mensaje conmovedor e inspirador."
