Dreadful. I don't know if the other reviewers gave five stars because they don't know what good writing looks like, or because they didn't expect much from a free book.
The idea is fun. Quirky. A cute little spin on a romance novel. The writing is unbearably bad. It reads like fanfic. Very POOR fanfic. In the first five pages the characters "kept thinking", "kept saying", kept kept kept.
Reading this book was like listening to a second grader talk about her day. "And then we did this. And then this happened. And then I thought this." Tell me a story that doesn't sound like you're reading me your grocery list.
