Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?

The first real story that interested me was Anne Rice's Queen of the Damned. The immensity and detail of the story made me want to write my own stories.

How do you approach cover design?

It has to grab my attention. Something colorful, but pertinent to the story. Something that doesn't give anything away.
