What to say about this one? This was a very, very short read but lots of fun! If you're familiar with R.Phoenix and Adara Wolf, you know what to expect! There was no plot at all, but reading about a haughty, arrogant mage being brought down was fun! The ending allows for a potential sequel, and hoping it will happen! I need more of Chalet and Drake. If you want a short and spicy read with mind control, Noncon, humiliation, forced straight to gay with both voyeurism and exhibitionism in between heavier books, this is it.

Forcibly Knotted by the Shifter: Mate on Nov. 19, 2022

I picked this up because it was recommended to me by one of my most favourite omegaverse writers Anna Wineheart, and I trust her with my life and boy, was I not disappointed. Fair warning - there is non-con, shifted sex, water sport, forced breeding, bondage, kidnapping and mpreg. However, I loved it and was so sad it was short. It was sexy, dirty, and hot. This was delicious smut, and R.Phoenix teased us with a potential continuation and sequel, which I will eagerly await. I want to know if Trey, while already mated to Kamil, will fall in love with him if there will be more babies if he will go back to civilization and if there will be other pairings - so many questions also about how Trey was able to have Kamil's babies - is he special or is it because they are mates?. This is the week of reading new authors for me, and R.Phoenix is another I will definitely be checking out in the future. If you're into this type of stories, I can't recommend it enough.

Monster-Forced: The Monster's Forced Breeding on Nov. 19, 2022

I absolutely enjoyed this story. It was very dark and different from the usual M/M stories I read (and my first at reading a monster looking/human pair with Non-con). Once again Anne Wineheart has a magical way with words that suck you right in. It a short but intense (high heat) read with a lot of taboos explored. I really hope that this is the first of many.

This was another delicious addition to this series. Short and hot. I enjoyed the bit of humiliation and non-con with mind control. I love how these closeted bullies are slowly put in their place. I also enjoyed the bit we got to see of Drake and Charlet. I wonder if Max is next? Overall it was a short, fun read, I wish it was longer, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Can’t wait for what is next to come. If you enjoy Adara Wolf and R.Phoenix, you know what to expect.

He has to set up cameras around his room and be monitored. Upon completion of the study, he will receive 100,000. However, things aren’t what they seem. Soon he and his friend and roommate Ruck (whom Brey has a secret crush on) end up at the mercy of a giant plant monster that wants to breed them. Goodness. This short story was ridiculous and just hilarious. There is no plot, just straight up…I don’t even know. However, I enjoyed it like I do with all of Anna's non-con works. I love her mind and the stories it brings us. It oddly had a sweet HEA for our two MCs and their offsprings.

Forced by the Alien Monster: The Alien's Forced Breeding on Feb. 02, 2023

How to start this one. I think this story was a bit wilder and more intense compared to Anna Wineheart's previous non-con stories. We have Prem, who is kidnapped by an alien reptile prince and well forcefully uh probed by the alien against his will. No pleading, crying or screaming stops the process that is for Viliritt to claim and impregnate his mate. He's a human male, but changes are made slowly to his body to prepare him. I'm not going to lie, it was hot (sometimes I do wonder if I'm okay when I enjoy works like this). I love non-humanoid creatures/aliens pairing with humans. We get unique uh parts as well. The part that killed me was when the alien's peen changes into this grippy peen (?) that helps pull the child out during birth. I love Anna's wild creative mind because I know I have never read that before. It is really cover-to-cover non-con, and there is a gang rape of Prem by other aliens when he tries to escape - thankfully, he does get saved. Honestly, I think every sexual interaction is non-con except for the last. But there is HEA at the end with cute alien reptile babies! It was too short but enjoyed myself.

After reading Say You Love Me, I went and bought all of Odessa Hywell’s books on Smashwords. Taboo stories with incest/twincest are one of my favourites, and I really liked this author’s writing style and how the stories seemed to be on the sweeter side. Twisted Together was, well…twisted? We have fraternal twins, Bennet and Cooper. Bennet has always had unbrotherly love towards his beloved twin and has kept those feelings to himself. While they are closer and touch more than your average siblings, they only have each other after losing their parents. One night at a club, Bennet is forced by a stranger, and that stranger, who feels familiar, keeps coming back. Okay, now this is where the story becomes pretty messed up. It is almost 80% non-con, and that first scene in the club's bathroom was definitely straight up rape. However, it soon becomes more dub-con, and later we even get CNC between the twins. This story wasn’t just straight-up erotica; despite some of the actions by Cooper, it was emotional. You know these two love one another but were scared to take that next step. I loved seeing how close they were, the cuddling, the touching, the “I love you” between them. Now do I think what Cooper did was despicable? Yes, of course. I still wonder if he was forgiven too quickly, as it must have been traumatic for Bennett to realize your beloved brother seems to have a split personality. You need a healthy dose of reality suspension for this story. I feel like Cooper still has so much to make up for, but I am happy they get their HEA at the end. Overall it was a smutty, sweet at times (?), emotional, twisted twincest story! I would advise checking TWs, as this story is basically non-con for most of the plot.

Say You Love Me was a short and smutty incest between brothers story. Forest comes back for his baby brother River after being away for a few years to claim what is his. It's a sweet and steamy story as they reunite and promise to be together no matter what. If you want a super short brother x brother story that is sweet and steamy, this is it.

Knotted by the Wolf 7: Knot in Front of My Parents! on Feb. 28, 2023

Another delightful addition to the Knotted by the Wolf Series. Very sexy and short! I love how the parents accepted them without much drama when they discovered them. Now that Sean is pregnant, I wonder how it will show up in the story (and how the parents will handle it). I also loved learning that Ethan and Sean met as children, despite Sean knowing about it years later! Overall an excellent short read; I can not wait for the next in the series.

He is warmly welcomed by the people of Inferno Springs but soon learns that things aren't what they seem when a Hellhound appears before him. This was a short and steamy non-con shifter erotica by a new author. I really enjoyed it and wished it was longer. While it is a non-con erotica, there is potential for excellent world-building and an undercurrent of a budding sweet romance between Ben and Isaac. I really, really need more of them. I need to see how their relationship develops, and honestly just want more of them together. Overall, Forced by the Hellhound was a great short erotic read. If you want a quick steamy read and enjoy non-con and shifted sex, I recommend it.

Morally Ambiguous Duet on March 10, 2023

Honestly, I love how they are able to write such sweet, emotional and steamy incest stories. We have Eren (23), who is alone after losing his adoptive parents and leaving his abusive boyfriend. He's homeless and lonely and seeks out his birth parents, hoping to reconnect with them. However, when he finds his birth mother, things don't go so well once she realizes he is gay but gives him his birth father's information. He finds him but initially keeps his identity a secret as he realizes his feelings for him are anything but fatherly. "Sometimes . . . I know it’s twisted,” Eren said, his voice cracking. “I shouldn’t want you as both—my boyfriend and my dad" Atwood (40) had a son when he was a teenager after an alcohol-fueled one-night stand that he may or may not have fully consented to. While he wanted to keep his son, since he was in the foster care system himself with no stability in his life, he decided to put his son up for adoption so he would have a better chance at life. However, he hasn't ever forgotten him and honours his birthday every year with a cake. He's scared to seek him out but hopes he is doing well. I really enjoyed this duet. It had a lot of things I've come to adore about Odessa's writing and storytelling, so it worked for me. It was super sexy and I enjoyed the bit of angst. Because let's be real, nothing about a father/Son relationship will be straightforward. It takes Atwood time to come to terms with his feelings towards his son and the guilt, so be warned, the first book does end on a cliffhanger. "Atwood could be the dad he’d always wanted to be when necessary, without feeling ashamed about the other aspects of their relationship. And Eren could be Atwood’s son when it suited him." I liked how needy Eren was and literally soaked up the praise from Atwood. He was starved for affection, and his father was ready to provide it. The possessiveness between them was also lovely. The whole "good boy, my baby boy"...loved it. While these types of stories can fall into the side of pure smut, Odessa balances it well, the sex, emotions, and plot. Not to mention these are some level 5 spicy scenes. We also get public sex, voyeurism, and exhibitionism in the second book. Speaking of public sex, Bennett and Cooper (Twisted Together ) make a cameo! Let's say there's a particular scene that was very, very nice. There was one sex scene that I had a very hard time picturing because some crazy contortions had to be happening. Overall I enjoyed it. It was a fun, sweet and steamy Father/Son taboo read. If you have enjoyed Odessa's stories in the past, you will definitely like this one too.

xSon of a Sinner is a taboo incest story. We have Penn (40), who has always wanted to be a father, but when his wife divorces him, he feels like that part of his life is over. However, years later, he gets the chance to foster and adopt a teen named Wilder (16 at the start but 18 by the end of the novella). Wilder has been alone since birth and shuffled around through the system. However, he soon finds that Penn is not like the previous foster parents he's lived with. He cares for him and ensures he is safe, and soon he lets his guard down as feelings of a taboo nature develop between them. I found Penn and Wilder's relationship to be cute and liked seeing how they grew comfortable with one another. I also liked seeing Wilder become comfortable and trusting towards Penn. Penn ensured to give in the life he deserved while ensuring a promising future. However, feelings get complicated, especially as Wilder starts to see his foster parent as more than just a parent. The relationship dynamic is heavily tipped as Wilder grew up unloved and not knowing what a healthy relationship is. Also there's a moment in which Penn does seek out others in order to not give into Wilder's advances. I liked the Daddy/boy elements. Wilder did not have a childhood, and while there is no age play, he wants to be taken care of and spoiled, and Penn is ready to fill those needs. It is a pretty predictable story but a well-written short taboo story. The story ends with a cliffhanger but I'm excited to read what's next.

Robin loved to be spoiled by his fathers and still gets away with things like sleeping in their beds at night or cuddling with them during a movie - despite being in college. He sleeps both of his fathers in secret and causes the them to have guilt over their relationship with him (and their spouse), but they soon realize they have both been played. The fathers team up to show their son that naughty boys get taught a lesson. It was an interesting PWP with a lot of kinks. It was hot and I enjoyed it for what it was as a short incest erotica.

Sins of My Father picks up right where Son of a Sinner ends. Penn discovers that Wild is his biological son and now questions everything about his life, including how his ex gave up their child. Penn feels so guilty about his feelings towards his son, and Wild does not make it easy for him. He loves his father as a lover and wants to put their past behind them and focus on the future and their relationship as lovers. I loved Sins of My Father. It was emotional, sweet and erotic, everything I love to see in taboo incest stories! I loved how Wild knew what he wanted and did not let Penn deny his feelings got him to understand that while he suffered going through the foster care system, Penn has given him so much love, security, and worth. I enjoyed their Daddy/Boy relationship, Wild is a bratty boy. There are a lot of kinks explored - food play, spanking, belt play, stuffing and more. I loved how steamy and sexy the story was. I am so glad that Penn realizes that he can’t drown in guilt and shame. They decide to move away to an area where they can start over with no one who knows them around. They meet another couple, Austin and Marcus, who also have their own “not socially acceptable” relationship. They become close and finally find people who they can be open with regarding the nature of their relationship. I hope Austin and Marcus will have their own book! Overall I really enjoyed this duet, especially Sins of My Father. This story may not be for everyone, so please check the trigger warning. However, if you enjoy taboo, age gap, incest stories, erotica, Daddy/boy, and kinks, I recommend it.

Short and smutty. We have Nathan, a noble at the front lines fighting against an Orc invasion. Orcs have discovered they can mate and breed human males and have captured men across the lands. Nathan gets captured by one, and well now he belongs to him. Soon though, he realizes that despite being straight his whole life, he's attracted to Ogharod the Orc and accepts his fate. This was a really steamy Orc monster erotica, there's really no plot at all, just smut. Poor Nathan becomes needy for his Orc. This story isn't dark or really non-con in my opinion, it's more on dub con side for like 5 seconds. Honestly, the Orcs are quite sweet and really care for their human mates. Overall I enjoyed it but wished it was longer and we got to see him get pregnant. The second book will be MMMM, with three Orcs and an Elf they're gonna capture. **Mpreg is mentioned as it can happen but there's none on page.

For nEver Mine: Mate Mistake #1 on June 22, 2023

When I first found out that Odessa Hywell was writing an omegaverse incest taboo story, I lost my mind. Taboo? Incest? Omegaverse? Sign me up. For nEver Mine is about an older Omega and younger Alpha, blood brothers who become mates. We have Shiloh, who goes on a solo mission to rescue his older omega brother, who was sent to another pack. That pack is led by a power-hungry, abusive alpha leader who mistreats Riley. They are able to escape, but because of the pack bonds that formed between Riley and that Alpha, they can be tracked. An Alpha biting an omega can sever it, but that bite will also create a mate bond. They have no other choice, and Shiloh is not about to let his beloved brother be captured or have another Alpha do it. Shiloh and Riley try to resist the consequences that follow the mating bite but fail. Shiloh and Riley are meant to be! They're just so adorable together and there's something about older omegas and younger alpha pairings that I just love. One thing I really enjoy about Odessa's books is how sweet the relationship between the characters is. Like this is taboo, it's incest, but goodness, the way Shiloh is protective of Riley and how he respects him and cares for him made my heart melt. The constant touching, nuzzling, and need for them to be just near each other made me happy. I loved the sex, it's hot, it's really hot, and there is A LOT of it in this book (they're newly mated after all), but those moments of them being needy and borderline codependent got to me too. While their relationship is of a taboo nature, there're not many issues from their parents or pack members. They're easily accepted and I adored how the pack stood behind Riley and Shiloh. The conflict and issues come from that abusive and violent Alpha leader (which is resolved rather quickly). We get shifted sex too! Also Riley and Shiloh relationship dynamic is interesting, and while it doesn't entirely fall into the traditional omega-alpha dynamic, I loved that Riley submits and defers to his Alpha when needed. Overall I loved For nEver Mine. It ticked off many boxes for me, and I can't wait for the next book! I need Keenan and Ellis's book. I also need to know more about Jaiden and Locke! Side note: I actually thought there would be mpreg...don't ask why I did but there's no mpreg.

Pinewood Lodge was a sweet and short Stepfather/Stepson story. We have Hunter (46), who has had an affair with his stepson Simon (30) for almost ten years. They are both married, and Simon has a child on the way. It’s the holidays as part of their family tradition everyone and the extended family are spending it together at Pinewood Lodge. Hunter and Simon can’t keep their secret hidden for long and want to be together. But they know that if their affair comes to light people important to them will be hurt and betrayed. I really enjoyed this story! While not taboo, it’s definitely on the forbidden side. Hunter and Simon truly do love one another, but Hunter at least should have divorced Simon’s mother as soon as he knew. It sucked that she ended up being hurt and a whole child got involved. The story starts out with them already together in secret and in love. We get a few hints in the story of their past and how they got together, but it is mainly focused on the present. I would have loved to have seen how their relationship started and grew over those ten years in depth. As with all of Odessa’s stories, this one was also steamy and sweet. I’m also curious about Gideon - Hunter’s brother - and his ex-stepson Sinclair. I would like to read their story as well. I loved all that codependency and touching between them. Overall I really enjoyed Pinewood Lodge! It was messy but a sweet holiday read in July!

Xavier goes through forced feminization. From what he eats, to what he watches, to how he dresses, to how he speaks -- everything is controlled by the mage, his husband. His body and face transform slowly as his husband crafts him into his perfect wife. This story has non-con/dub-con elements as Zavi does not consent to any of the changes. He's horrified and tries to escape, but there's little he can do. Overall I enjoyed this novella and can't wait for the second part. This a twisted story that may trigger some people due to the content so please check TWs

We have Alpha Nor, who loves and cares for his youngest sibling Omega Toby. He dotes on him and spoils him; Toby is his whole world. However, Toby is an omega who will go into heat soon. This means he will need to be matched with an Alpha and be mated off. One day while out hunting together, Toby goes into heat and needs his brother, his Alpha Nor, who he loves. However, Nor understands that they can not go through this, they're siblings, not mates, but he can't resist and can never say no to his beloved brother. When Toby becomes pregnant, they need to make some tough decisions. This was a short, low angst, sweet, 'taboo' story. I was really excited about this one; I saw it recommended and had to read it. Omegaverse, incest, and mpreg ! It hurts how much potential this story had, but sadly, it was just an okay read for me. One issue I had was the sex scenes. It was not as descriptive as I would have liked, and they felt so rushed. The way Nor described those moments with his brother was lacking heat for me. I had issues with the ending. It was abrupt, and the author plants the idea that they might not actually be brothers, which felt like such a weird thing to drop at the end. Why cast doubt for the readers? What was the point of that? Overall, A Heart for Him had a lot of potential, but sadly with that bizarre and abrupt ending, it left a bad taste. Hopefully, there will be a sequel of some sort, but if they end up not being related, that will be so disappointing.

Say You Love Me: Alden & Harrison [Dad/Son] on Aug. 16, 2023

Alden connects with a man on a hookup app. He's ready to meet him; the older man who he has been talking to has never had sex with a man but has been attracted to them. He books a room at a motel but in walks his father. This was a really short taboo erotica. My main complaints would be that it's too short, and the sex happens way too late in the story. Other than that, I enjoyed it for what it was.

Fair Game is another super short, hot, dark erotica by Daniel May. Ajax is drugged and kidnapped by Bela to become his breeding stud. He learns that his boyfriend Valentine didn't disappear but was kidnapped, and Bela uses him against him if he tries anything. They're trapped with Bela. This one was quite fucked up but too short! There's so much to explore with these characters and the story. The history between Valentine and Ajex or how Bela and Ajex know one another. Bela is a billionaire with gunmen outside his room - so many questions! However, for what it was - a short novelette, I really enjoyed it. TWs from the author - Noncon, kidnapping, sexual slavery, training/conditioning, drugging, bondage, forced threesome, forced topping, mindbreak/Stockholm Syndrome, shock collar.

Pet is a short, dark erotica. We have Angel, a hapless secretary who tries his best but fails. He makes mistakes with his tasks, even dropping the coffee he’s tasked with getting. Luckily for him, the CEO Emmanuel is kind and understanding. However, Angel is getting frustrated at himself and feels like he should quit, but Emmanual has another role for him, one he can personally ensure he will succeed in. Okay, this super short novella is dark. Angel is kidnapped, forced into a crate, collared and raped. He’s promoted from secretary to pet. Emmanual disregards his pleas and cries as he breaks him. Angel ends up accepting his new reality. I really enjoyed this one, BUT it’s too short. I really wish it was longer since it had a lot of dark tropes I like.

Off Limits is a taboo novelette.. We have Milo, who is really into his gym rat brother Puck. One day, he decides to take advantage of his brother sleeping like the dead. Fast forward, Milo has moved out and stops by since his shower isn’t working. Puck returns from the gym super amped up, angry and aroused and sets his sights on his brother. Overall, it’s a super hot incest short. I enjoyed it for what it was, but as with all these super short, darker stories, I wish it was longer!

The Star Children on Oct. 22, 2023

We have an ambitious and gifted Zoologist, Dr. Zhen Xiai, who is entrusted with the survival of two of the last beings of an alien species. However, they refuse to eat in his care, no matter the different methods he tries. He's consumed with the worry of losing them and failing. He's neglected himself and does not eat, only focusing on figuring out why they refuse to feed. There isn't much information known about the species, but a question that is raised is their reproduction. One day, something goes wrong, and the creatures have escaped. Xiai is alone and well….he discovers how their reproductive cycle works. I did not know what to expect when I got this novella. The story gave me Arrival vibes but a way more twisted and dark version. This is an erotic sci-fi horror, not a romance, so do not go in expecting that. This story is open-ended, but I have so many questions! Daniel May created the framework of a fascinating world, and I need to know what happened to Xiai at the end. Overall, I really enjoyed it and recommend it if you're looking for something dark and different.

Seven is my least favourite of Daniel May's short novelettes so far. As the blurb states, Seven is an urban fantasy erotica tale that has ritualistic sex, magic, BDSM, and monster fucking. We have Chanming and Donovan, who are a magically monogamous couple that use their sex magic to help out. However, one day, Rene, Donovan's ex comes and needs him for a sex magic ritual. There's a lot going on and I did enjoy it for what it was, but I don't know, it was missing something the others had.

Brothers Theo and Liam get into a car crash. What caused it? Liam’s sudden confession to his older brother. Theo receives the brunt of the injuries, but everyone is okay. However, Theo knows he needs to address his little brother’s confession and feelings for him. This was a short but hot incest read. Honestly, it was super cute and sweet with no angst. It's a nice novelette in between heavier and longer reads. The brothers get on the same page regarding their feelings and get a lovely HEA.

Black Out Birthday Boy on Dec. 31, 2023

Matthew goes out drinking with his friends but ends up waking up naked with his half-brother, Brody, in bed with him. The half brother he just discovered and has yet to meet. Brody gets a call from his drunk half-brother, who is the product of his father’s affairs. Despite having some resentment towards him, he finds himself not only caring about him but falling in love. Embracing the Dark Side has to be one of my favourites from Becca Vale because of how needy and sweet the brothers are. It’s super sweet and hot! It was super hot, the hottest one so far. I just wish we had more!

I absolutely enjoyed Uncle! It was a sweet, taboo incest story between an Uncle and his nephew! Ben is a college student who desperately wants to lose his virginity. After coming home drunk from a failed attempt, a sight greets him which gets him heated. His word vomits his troubles to his Uncle, who promises to help him. I loved the relationship dynamic between Ben and Devon so much. I loved how needy Ben became with his Uncle once their relationship started forming. Devon is forceful (there are dubcon scenes that might make some readers uncomfortable), but he’s also so sweet with his nephew. He wants to ensure he gets the best experience, but nobody is good enough for his precious boy. I also loved the size and body type difference between the two. I read incest stories for the taboo aspect, like I need both parties to be aware what is going on is not accepted but play into it as well. So those moments when Devon calls Ben “Son”, the sneaking around and nearly being caught by the mother....loved it. The smut was top tier! Super hot and steamy and for a shorter story there’s enough emotional connection between Ben and Devon that their relationship felt genuine to me. It’s an erotica but has a good dose of romance. Overall I really enjoyed it, I’m greedy so I just want more, like what if Ben’s mother (Devon’s sister) finds out! If you want a short taboo incest read with dubcon elements I recommend Uncle!

Never Say Never: Mate Mistake #2 on March 07, 2024

It's no secret that I absolutely loved the first book and was super excited for Keenan and Ellis' story, but now that I read Never Say Never, I dare say that I enjoyed it even more. We meet Keenan and Ellis in For nEver Mine, and towards the end, we see they have "accidentally mated". This book focuses on the lead-up to that night and the aftermath. I loved how low angst this story was. Yes, it's taboo, but sometimes you just need two brothers in love without all the heavy stuff. Don't get me wrong, Keenan and Ellis cause tension and issues within their family, but in the end they are accepted. So don't expect them to be shunned or rejected; that is not the focus of this story. I adored how affectionate and close they were before becoming mates. Ellis is the baby of the family and the only Omega, and Keenan is the eldest and Alpha. Ellis is doted on and spoiled by his big brother. I appreciated Riley's strength as an Omega, but I also loved how Odessa wrote Ellis! I jokingly say that I'm an omegaverse traditionalist; I like my Alphas like Alphas and my omegas as omegas with that traditional Alpha/Omega relationship dynamic. I get that in this book. We have the size difference; Ellis is more submissive, and I love how his brother reassured him that it's okay just to be himself, an omega and that there's strength in that. The steam and the kinks. Odessa writes some A++ steamy scenes, but this book takes it to another level. We get CNC, mouth knotting!!! (like I can count on one hand how many times I read that in a book), breath play, shift sex and more!! I loved it all so much. The world-building! I am super excited for what is to come in this series; we get a peek into it as this book sets up what is to come. I am so excited because we are going to get mpreg in this world and I’m hoping that we will get to see both Riley and Ellis pregnant by their brothers! I need some honest to god incest mpreg, please and thank you! Overall I really enjoyed Never Say Never and can’t wait for Locke and Jaiden’s story!
