Linda Frietman was born in Buckinghamshire, England, but has lived most of her life in Holland with her Dutch artist husband and their two children. Linda worked for many years at the British School in Netherlands, working in key stage 1+2, where she developed her love of children’s literature. Travelling the world has been a big inspiration for writing children’s stories and narrative poems.
Farmer Groot often jokes that Klara, his white-and-black Friesian cow, is more trouble that she’s worth, but he is really very fond of his good-natured cow. Klara has a mind of her own, which often gets her into tricky and humorous situations.
