Smashwords Interview

What's the story behind your latest book?
Over a year ago, I realized that many young women lacked the connection to older women. They did not have the opportunity to sit and talk to or listen to their mothers, grandmothers, aunts and old friends sharing life's experience and wisdom. Women seldom gather around the kitchen table or quilting frame as they did in the past. Therefore, I wanted to offer today's young women an opportunity to virtually return to the find wisdom from women of the past as well as women today.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I was motivated to become an indie author by the need to have what I had written available to women now, not years from now...or never. Being an indie author gives me that freedom.
