This is a must read if you enjoy paranormal romance! From the first page, I found myself pulled into this story about Others - werewolves, druids, fae, and vampires, to name a few - and enjoying the ebb and flow. The rhythm was easy for me to follow and I enjoyed seeing events from both Fallon's and Brody's points of view. This made for an interesting twist and a better understanding of the situations. Fallon is a complex character, edgy with a heavy dose of confidence. I like that. When she meets Brody her world is rocked and she's, for apparently the first time, unsure about what she's feeling and where she wants to go with it. It was fun to watch her as this character developed and I enjoyed not being sure which direction she would take or what to expect from her next. Brody is not as unpredictable as Fallon, and I found him warm and engaging, as if we were already friends. He thought he knew where he was going, as well, and we all know how that can change in a second. Seeing scenes through his point of view gave me a better grasp on why he did some of the things he did, and made me appreciate the depth of his emotions. The supporting cast was fun, as well; I liked the quirks and differences each exhibited and look forward to seeing more from them in the future. I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
