My laptop is my best friend. I always have a stack of books from the library waiting to be read. And I know every episode of Friends by heart. When I’m not writing in my office you will find me volunteering in the community for my local school district. I believe education is the greatest gift. And I believe words can change the world.

I am a freelance writer and editor by trade, and apparently, love writing so much I do it in my spare time as well.

I spend my afternoons and weekends running to classes and practices and games, listening to piano lessons, and playing with my two children.

Those closest to me describe me as funny, sarcastic, organized, and unbudgingly type A. I live in Hillsboro, Oregon with my wonderful husband and children, and wouldn’t live anywhere else (except maybe Alaska) for all the money in the world.
