I am happily married with two children. I am fortunate to have achieved a First class honours degree in psychology in 2011. I feel honoured that the BPS and other medical professionals have positively endorsed or praised my book.
I am passionate about helping others and also have many rescued animals at our home in the countryside. I have a Facebook page called A Fine Line by Lisa WB which shares many nice photos of animals.
I want to promote mental health in a more positive way and also try to battle for more access to help for parents with children with SEN needs.
I am a huge fan of most sports and encourage my children to play when they can.
I think child abuse is a significant issue and am glad that my book has had the recognition for helping promote issues around the awareness of child abuse and the consequences.
I would like to thank anyone who has bought and read my book and for the many kind messages I receive.
What's the story behind your latest book?
The inspiration and story for my new book was to hopefully demonstrate that recovery is possible after child abuse, and also to give beneficial insight to the rational of actions and feelings from a survivor. The book also demonstrates the success and failings of medical care.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I always wanted to write and see my work published, being an indie author is exciting, humbling and pleasing at the same time.
