Lito is an historian, freelance writer and blogger. She has studied Modern Greek and Contemporary European History in Athens and London and holds an M.A. from Queen Mary College and a Ph.D. from King’s College London. Her articles have appeared in print in the Journal of Contemporary History; the European History Quarterly; the Philip’s Atlas of World History; the Modern Greek Studies Yearbook, University of Minessota; Greek daily Eleftherotypia; Greek historical journal Histor; and in the edited volumes: Greek Society in Making: Realities, Symbols and Visions (Ashgate Variorum 1997); The Greek World Between East and West, 1453-1981 (Ellinika Grammata 1999); and Volos 1881-1955 The Place and the People (2004).
