I'm a sophomore Oregon State University drop out. Before leaving, I managed to complete my Baccalaureate courses required for the College of Business ending with a 3.32 GPA. The day I officially left turned out to be the night I realized I couldn't fund my Sophomore year worth a damn ever; so it seemed to me at the time. I ended up pulling my school's laboratory's fire alarm on that rainy gloomy night. Standing outside in front of the main entrance as I'm being poured on doing this informal protest, I sensed a degree of pride in me for finally taking the first steps in moving forward from this place. Attracting plenty of commotion, especially from the pub across the street at 15 till tomorrow, my arrested lead to a crowd chanting with drunken cheers and toasts! I ended up only staying there overnight, being released the very next day with a $2000 court ordered fine in one hand, and an expulsion notice from OSU on the other. I left Corvallis and moved to Portland, Oregon. Here I stumbled into tons of down time that inevitably lead to the idea of writing this book.
