What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I'm not a morning person, so getting out of bed is always a challenge! However, I love what I do and there's always a whole host of book-related stuff to get done, so once I'm up, it's all systems go! I am a regular blogger and just love all the interaction and feedback I get through social media - the conversations go on all day.
If I'm struggling for inspiration, I take a long walk along the canal at the end of my street - that always gets the juices flowing again!
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I'm a very social animal, so I meet up with friends or other writers most days. You can't beat a good old gossip over coffee and cake!
I love to cook, so pottering round the kitchen creating new recipes is always fun.
Because I eat so much, I also spend a big chunk of my time in the gym - not only does it keep my body in shape, but I find it's great for clearing my mind and helping me come up with new ideas.
I'm just love Social Media. I spend hours everyday on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram. I claim it's because it helps raise my writing profile, but in reality, I'm just an addict!
