This is the first book I have read of Tori Scott and all I can say is AWESOME!!!!!! I could not but the book down. Megan won my heart with her strength, wisdom and love for her friends and family!! When Logan' daughter show up at her place looking for him. Megan ended up taking Katie to her grandfather ranch where Logan was staying. Him and his sister were taking care of his father who had had a stroke. Megan was friends with Carol but had never met Logan. She help them with the care of him. She love the ranch and the small town but she also loved Logan. She knew he had a lot of issues that he needed to get straight in his head before he could love even himself. Logan is head of his own company and lates to live on a ranch. He alway felt that he had no friends growing up. After he moves Is back home and Katie is kidnapped he fines out that what he believed wasn't true. How the town worked to find his daughter was fantastic. Can he fight off his guilt and be with Megan the woman he loves? This book is the first book in the series Lone Star Cowboys and I would recommend it to anyone!!!
