Merna L. Skinner - Communications Consultant

With more than 30 years in the communications field, Merna L. Skinner is the President and Founder of Satori Communications, Inc. She has developed and instructed a variety of communications programs, including media training, crisis communications, executive presentation skills, business writing, talent development and women's leadership programs. For 26 years she worked for the consulting firm, Exec|Comm where her clients included Unilever, Bank of America, Kimberly Clark, The Gallup Organization, New York Life, ExxonMobil, Wilmer Hale, and many others. During her partner years, Merna managed the firm's marketing, curriculum, and program design.

National publications that have either interviewed Ms. Skinner or published articles by her on topics like communication styles, effective presentation skills, and efficient writing techniques include Investor's Business Daily, Continental Airlines Magazine, Northwest Airlines' World Traveler Magazine, and Working Mother. Ms. Skinner has coached CEOs, CFOs, presidents, authors and other executives and managers, preparing them for major speaking engagements and critical interviews with Dateline, Nightline, CNBC, and major newspapers and trade publications.

Merna Skinner graduated magna cum laude with a master's degree in Communication Arts from Emerson College and holds two bachelor's degrees, in Communication Arts and English.
