Excellent book! Travel with Vashie from Red River County, Texas to San Angelo and on to Girvin, Fort Stockton, Hobbs New Mexico and on. The author has a way of describing life at the beginning of the twentieth century that is both accurate and heartfelt. It is a family history and much more. I loved this book and so will you.
