I'm just a hopeless romantic. I've been reading for 40 years now, and never lost the taste.
Anything, as long as it has a happy ending and a heroine that I can relate to, so I guess that is a (rather faded ) English Rose, with a stubborn but loyal streak.
I've been married for quarter of a century, and genuinely am as much in love as the day I walked down the aisle, so maybe romance is a good thing.
Once Upon A New Year's Eve (Meet Cute Romance)

Wow..this book is just wonderful!
A really believable heroine, strong and independent but still confused as to why things just didn't work out wit the man of her dreams a decade before meets him one New Year's Eve and,....well a simply beautiful thing grows between them.
It left me dreaming of how things will end up, but in a good kind of "Truth about Cats and Dogs" way, that you know will be happy ever after.
Perfect for a lunch break or a quiet evening in.

Ooh..60 pages of absolute joy.
A short and Very sweet story of self discovery..without all the psychobabble.
Sarah is an absolute star, and her realisation that Becket Is the man for her is just wonderful.
I just want to watch these two lovely people grow old together..but I can imagine all of that from this gorgeous story.
Plus, anyone can write as charged a climb as the one they have to do, that certainly works for me. Hand me the carribeners girl, I'm back out on the rock...

Read this book!
It really is a well written and engaging novella, with wonderful characters and a genuine feeling of life in the semi outback.
Two wonderful dogs....( Both of which are the best friends of a loveable 12 year old )
Oh yes, and a wonderful love story that will have you in tears at the denouement.

I love Leeanna Morgan's wonderful books, and this one is one of the best!
Her characters are like friends, who pop back in from previous books, just so you can keep an eye on how they are
Read one book, and you will enter a world of true friends, page turning suspense, safe in the knowledge that our damaged heroine will fall for the caring, handsome and damn hunky hero, struggling with his own cross to bear.
Perfect!

I loved this story..( Ok So I should declare an interest..I absolutely adore the Scottish Highlands, so anything set on Skye has a running start) but despite that the book had a lot going for it..a smart ( recently widowed) heroine, a possibly excellent brother in law who is excellent with the kids and a very strange lady ( and I mean Lady) living in the BIG house....oh and she has a gorgeous grandson who is a Hollywood star with s reputation as a heartbreaker...well you get the idea...
* Spoiler alert* great twist at the end too..I really didn't see that coming.
Really enjoyed it all, in a very very pride and prejudice way.
