Lyn Miller is married with two grown up children and lives in Edinburgh with her husband and dog. She studied medicine at Edinburgh University and then specialised in General Practice, going on to work as a part-time GP in East Lothian for 27 years. She has always loved reading, describing herself as a ‘readaholic’, and decided to try her hand at writing. Taking Medicine is her first novel and is loosely based on her experiences at medical school.
