Biography
I grew up in a small farming town outside of Asheville North Carolina. My parents had a cleaning service most of my life- I would go to work with them and I would meet all kinds of business owners and professionals. When I got older I would help out on one of their clients farm and make some extra money. I also worked as a stable hand for several riding schools. My neighbors had a fairly large sheep farm and sometimes they would let me work for them to make some extra money as well. They still have the farm today and when they need help or get sick- I still show up.
I grew up working for successful and wealthy people and seeing the lifestyle they lived. I wondered why they could live freely but I had to pinch pennies and worry about every single dime I ever spent. I was tired of scrubbing toilets. I wanted something more. But everything required half a lifetime of college and then I couldn't find anything that I really liked doing. I was passionate about a lot but all the career options just didn't lead me anywhere. But my plans were slammed to a stop when I became suddenly sick... It was a mystery to doctors for over a year. I dropped out of college, work, everything. I swear I have never suffered so horribly in my whole life. I lost a year if living. But this tragic and wrenching event lead me to where I am today.
Once they finally found a cure- for about 3 months I did nothing but recover and find my feet. But then I started looking for some kind of work. I didn't want to go back to being a private maid so I started thinking of other things. I happened to be looking online and I stumbled onto a business education company called MOBE. I decided to partner with them. Things have been different since then. It has been great working with such an awesome group of people. I love what they have created and I hope to stay with them.
