Mary grew up in rural NY and Michael is from AZ. We met at college, taught school in AZ, MO and PA, homeschooled, and created curriculum and videos for church and commercial productions. We have three supposedly grown children and traveled the 48 states and Canada together in a tractor trailer.
Findley Family Video Publications has the key verse “Speaking the Truth in Love” from Ephesians 4:15. We have four main goals:
To Present a Biblical Worldview
To Exalt the Lord Jesus Christ
To Edify Believers
To Teach and to Delight
Michael J. Findley has been on the road most of his life and his writings reflect that motion. From the rise of the ancient Hittite Empire to a generational saga of a Space Empire, the one constant is his desire to communicate the truth of God's Word through fiction and nonfiction. Homeschoolers, church leaders, and ordinary believers who want to go deeper into the Word and reach higher to put God in the exalted place where He belongs will find many answers here.
They say write what you know. Mary C. Findley has poured her real life into her writing -- From the cover designs inspired by her lifelong art studies to the love of pets and country life that worm their way into her historicals. The never-say-die heroes in her twenty-some fiction works are inspired by her husband, a crazy smart man with whom she co-writes science and history-based nonfiction. These works were jump-started by a deep awareness of the dangers in our future if we don't understand ideological enemies rooted in the past. She's a strong believer in helping others and also has books about publishing advice and the need to have strong standards in reading and writing.
She has traveled internationally and around the lower 48 and Canada multiple times. Anecdotes from her small town life, college experiences, European, Canadian, and south-of-the border travels, as well as adventures as shotgun rider in a tractor trailer fill her contemporary works. She has also donned the cloak of alt-Victorian adventuress as Sophronia Belle Lyon, steampunk writer with her own League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (and ladies) from the great 1800s novelists. In all her works you will find faith, family, friendship and fulfilling stories. Do come have a look!

Part Three of Illustrated Antidisestablishmentarianism: Secularists try to divide Science from religion with terms like "non-overlapping magisterium". True Science and true religion do not conflict. Truth is truth.
Excerpted from Illustrated Antidisestablishmentarianism --
It's a religion that will tolerate no others. It puts man on the throne and Evolution as the Holy Scripture. Full color full page illustrations throughout.
Secularists like Charles Watts and Richard Dawkins affirm a single belief, though they vary in their methods of stating it. They believe that there is no evidence for the truth of any "revealed faith and that only secularist science should be permitted to exist. "Revealed" mean that people were told what to believe by a non-material means with no evidence that their written record is true.
Almost every American colony had some form of establishment of religion. This was because their religion consisted of proven and necessary facts of existence. Religion was reliable, logical and rational to them. The modern established religion of Secular Humanism teaches that it is the only scientifically-based belief system in existence. All other religions are not scientifically-based.
Hint. It's not what you think. It's a recipe for persecution, corruption and heresy. America's founding fathers understood that government must protect freedom, including the freedom to practice all religions. But they also understood that not all religions teach men how to be good citizens and make their countries prosper. The truth isn't out there somewhere, unfindable and unknowable. It's here.

Tristan begins the tales as a lost prince trying to save his princess while meeting and befriending each of the other men through hardship, loss, and blessing as they battle spiritual darkness and schemes of revenge, greed, and relentless evil. Jonathan takes up the tale as a swordman and sailor in a fight for his life with pirates and for the love of an exotic warrior woman. Catarain seeks restoration for his people and his own life and the love of the woman who healed his body and fights for his soul. Alex is torn between a normal blacksmith's life and his prodigious abilities with a blade. When he encounters an incomparable dark beauty whose foreign culture both baffles and draws him he finds the choice may be harder than he ever imagined.
Six stories set in a universe where Christians are persecuted right out of this world. Their roots begin on a sabotaged mining colony as they escape government confiscation of their churches and properties. The founding of a godly empire does not guarantee it will stay that way. Taxation and confiscation continue to be the tools that hamper efforts to free themselves from Earth domination and life-sustaining resources. A Martian colony becomes the staging grounds for a struggle to launch interplanetary ships with floating gardens and an unlikely romance. Intrigue and rebellion plague the king of the Space Empire as his own son might lead a rebellion that ends all hope for a future.
