M. L. Mansfield

Biography

M. Lou Mansfield has been writing for more than twenty years. She has won many contests, Racine's Mountain garnered first place in Mainstream fiction from the Oklahoma Writers Federation Inc. She is published in short story in several magazines. She has been a speaker at several conferences and been a guest speaker at schools and writers clubs over central Oklahoma. She has written ten novels and this will be her first published but not her last. She looks forward to entertaining readers for years.
A native born Oklahoma, she has been married to her husband Robert for 34 year. She has three Boston Terrier's, Agatha, Christie, and Baby, loves to read, go to movies, and write. She attended the University of Oklahoma and is an avid Sooner.

What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The opportunity to write my dreams. Most of my novels has been the direct result of dreams and my unusual ability to continue a dream night after night.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I love watching movies and reading.
