I am now retired. I spent 20 years as a Pastor and then worked in International Humanitarian Aide work. In 2004 I survived a massive stroke and like to encourage people to not give up in their life circumstances.
I have made a detailed study of Revelation chapters 2 & 3 over more than 25 years. This book is a look at these two chapters in order to discover the kind of church Jesus expects us to be. To open our eyes to the pitfalls of the early church in an attempt to avoid them ourselves.
This is a book for new Christians to read so they can better understand the church, their faith and where they fit in and what to avoid. The Question and Answer attempts to ask and answer the type of question a new Christian may have. I have had over 50 years experience of being a part of the church and have leant heavily on my own experiences.
This is a journey through the book of Philippians focusing on joy, developed from my own study, preaching and personal experience.. Philippians has been called The Book of Joy. The Apostle Paul lived a joyful life in the most harsh conditions; if he could do that; then we can too.Christians are supposed to live with the joy of the Lord; but in my experience I often have not seen that.
