Biography
My journalistic career began in the early 1990s in Denmark. As a news and feature journalist for TV & print media, I have covered a vast number of subjects in my native Denmark as well as overseas. Since moving to New Zealand in the early 2000s, I have focused on some of my passions: design, travel, food and wine.
Thanks to mingling and mixing with lots of wine people from all over New Zealand, attending uncountable wine-tastings and writing about wine, I have gathered a fair bit of knowledge about the modern wine industry here.
With my book, PASSION, PINOT & SAVVY I offer an up-to-date insight into New Zealand's exquisite wine industry, through the eyes of 16 women winemakers passionate about their craft.
