Madeline Pettet

Madeline Pettet is a senior judge for Needle In The Hay, when she's not working away at her PhD. Werewolves have always been a favourite of Madeline's but she knows it can be hard to find a female werewolf story with a positive feminist spin. Good Girl can be seen as the genus of Madeline's PhD project examining how female characters (including werewolves) in paranormal romance can be read as feminist. At the end of the day, a female werewolf has great potential to challenge things like the gender binary by suggesting that you can still be a woman and strong.
