What type of stories do you like to write?
Over the years, my writing has changed. My 2 children liked the animal stories I wrote for them.
I was a correspondent for two newspapers, in Idaho. One for local news, the other for agriculture, for an out of state newspaper.
I started writing fantasy for my kids and when they were grown, I wrote for myself. I liked the freedom of writing fantasy.
When I meet my second husband, the romance and paranormal began.
I've pretty much stayed with romance, paranormal and westerns. All of them are challenge for me to write.
When did you first start writing?
Writing wasn't as important to me as reading. When I found the National Geographic in my 6th Grade library, I was fascinated by the authors that wrote for them. The section was small, and I had read all of them by the end of the school year.
In 7th Grade, I fell in love with Walter Farley's, "Black Stallion" series. He inspired me to try writing stories of my own.
