Not my favorite theme - humiliation/degradation is not sexy. Discipline in a D/s-type relationship is one thing; sadistic abuse of an unwilling partner is a whole nother thing. I didn't find it sexy. I found it sad. The fact that her character was written as having achieved some physical gratification was less than believable, for me, given the rest of the story. But I guess that's why they call it fiction. I'll read more Dylan Cross, but I won't re-read this one.
