Malcolm Mills is a Canadian writer passionate about research of history and writing stories of Canadian accomplishments and adventures. As he puts it, “Our history rivals all others in excitement and adventure; it bursts with achievements and shouts of victory only to be quickly silenced by the Great Canadian fear of self exultation.”
Malcolm’s first book “High Hopes & High Tides” was based upon the launching of the W.D. Lawrence ship from Maitland Nova Scotia before Confederation; it was perhaps the largest wooden sailing vessel ever built.
The novel exposes the travels and adventures related to exploring and settling the endless stretch of Canadian land in 18th century.
Danger and intrigue, romance and pirate encounters bring excitement, hardships, and victories to honest young men of high spirit and love for freedom and justice.
