Smashwords Interview

When did you first start writing?
Publishing my work has been a goal of mine for several years.
After several abortive attempts, lots of self-analysis and generous reviews/critiques by other authors, I felt ready to make the leap. Here I am !!
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Traditional publishing seemed rife with obstacles. I was intimidated by the stories of others, some quite successful, who struggled for years to reach an audience. Frankly, at my age, I don't have the time to wait/hope.
