I live in a small town on the Atlantic coast, and being surrounded by the ocean influences so much of what I do. I see the way the moon moves across the water at night, the pollen that wafts from the pines, the fury of the gale, the peace of falling snow. I find that nature is a powerful, inspiring part of my reality.
Drawing and painting are two ways I express the way I see life, and writing is another attempt to relay my feelings to others. Recently, I began writing about something that means a great deal to all of us--the search for and the expression of love. I think love can save your life, ease suffering and erase pain, turn the world on its head. I want to use my work to explore the limits of this all-important area of life.
Love Letter--Passion Among the Tombs
by Marcus Sloane-Whyte
The first in a series of erotic letters for women, a fantasy; a memory, a recounting of a romantic encounter between lovers who find themselves alone in a neglected graveyard outside a small, Greek village. Written from man to woman, this letter tenderly explores the boundaries between romantic and erotic love.
