Marge received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin and her Master of Science in Health Professions from Southwest Texas State University. Exposed to meditation by a patient in the 1970s, Marge began her journey into the non-drug approach to health. In the early 90s, Marge studied homeopathy and acupuncture in Georgia and Sri Lanka with the Academy of Advanced Complementary Medicines. She also became an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist and a Registered Trainer with the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association. In 1996, she co-founded CAMA, the Complementary~Alternative Medical Association, a non-profit organization which focused on education. She, also in 1996 began studying homeopathy with Dr. Chaltin and the American Academy of Clinical Homeopathy.
She retired after 30 years of nursing in 2004 to serve as President/CEO of Newton Laboratories, a manufacturer of homeopathics. Marge lectures at community gatherings, universities and national health-related events and is an adjunct professor at Life University, teaching an undergraduate course on homeopathy. She has appeared on numerous television and radio talk shows discussing natural medicine and issues of health care freedom. She has testified on numerous occasions before the Georgia Senate and House of Representatives regarding healthcare freedom.
