    I made the mistake of reading this while recovering from a stomach flu. As Murphy would have it, no sooner did I finish reading it than my wife offered me something to eat. Needless to say, the story had its desired effect. Bridget has crafted a richly detailed, darkly twisted slice of horror. Kudos to the effort. I do believe that strong viewpoint would help A good viewpoint character may miss details that an omniscient narrator captures. But what's lost in the detail would be made up for in a deeper connection with the story. Good job.
