Marlowe R. Scott is a country girl born in the South New Jersey town of Cedarville. She is blessed with many God-given talents, to include in part: writing, poetry, quilting, and floral-designing. In her own words, she is a "people-person". Her personality helps brighten the days of many who know her, as they enjoy not only her talents, but words of wisdom. A favorite theme for her life is the Serenity Prayer she discovered on the wall of a country store when she was only 16 years old. It reads, "God, grant me the SERENITY to accept the things I cannot change, the COURAGE to change the things I can, and the WISDOM to know the difference."
When did you first start writing?
I have actually been writing since the 1960s when I attended high school. In my junior year (11th grade), I won a county contest on the subject of "Employing the Handicap". Years later, while attending college, I still had the God-given talent and earned 'A's in English Composition. (In today's grading system, that equates to a 4.0.) My college major was Communication Arts, covering all aspects of communication: verbal, written, and visual.
What's the story behind your latest book or series of books?
My books and writings have always focused on reality - things I have personally experienced. They are meant to not only inspire others, but help them and those they have contact with find that there is always a lesson and/or blessing - even though problems may arise along life's journey.

Those seeds are destined to mature into converted, committed Christians when they are nurtured well. They, in turn, plant more seeds within families and among their friends, workplaces, communities, and the world.
